When Yolanda and Ángeles Castro returned to Spain after living and studying in London, they brought home more than memories of another country. They brought with them a vision.
Inspired by their own experience of learning through immersion, culture, and human connection, the two sisters dreamed of creating a place where international students could experience Spanish in the same meaningful way. Their father offered simple but powerful advice: “If you want something, just start, and solve the problems as they come.” They followed that advice, and in 2000, K2 Internacional was born in the historic city of Cádiz.
What began as a small project has evolved into a respected Spanish language school that has welcomed more than 10,000 students from around the world.
